Ecstatic Dance with Gay Rathman

Ecstatic Dance is a moving meditation practice where the music takes you on a journey through a cycle of rhythms. The class starts soft for sinking in and grounding, builds with beats and breath, peaks in a let-it-loose release, opens and expands into light and love, and finally comes back down to a peaceful finish. (20-minute warmup, short intro, and then a full hour dance journey with a brief closing circle.)

Sundays, 10-11:30am.
Sliding scale donation: $7-$12 suggested.  

Gay Rathman: I am in my 7th year of facilitating Ecstatic Dance. I love creating dance journeys with great music for body mind and spirit. I have always had a very strong connection to music and it brings me joy to share the practice of dancing through all the rhythms of life! I was a facilitator for Embodydance Santa Fe for 4 years and have held space for smaller groups for 3 years.
